INDONESIA INVENTORS DAY 2021

Indonesia Inventors Day is an international platform for local and international inventors also research scientists to present their innovations and inventions. The Indonesia Inventors day aims to appreciate those people who have dedicated themselves to create a new and bright idea that will be useful for people and the world. Focus of this event is an exhibition and competition in which the participants can bring their final product, sample, prototype or mock-up to be presented in Indonesia Inventors Day.

International Inventors Day was firstly introduced in 2019, previously, it was a separated exhibition in the name of International Young Inventors Awards (IYIA) and World Invention and Technology Expo (WINTEX). Beside as a token of appreciation for innovators around the world, who have dedicated themselves in the innovation and research field, this prestigious event also highlights several aims as follow :

  • Become a platform for the innovators around the world to perform and show their innovative projects to the international level
  • Transfer technology, ideas, and experience between the innovators
  • Gather the innovators to create a groundbreaking project through international collaboration
  • Initiate a commercialization process
  • Mark a place where the investor and inventor meet.

This year, the 8th Indonesian Inventors Day (IID) will be held Hybrid Exhibition due to the impact of Covid- 19 virus outbreak around the world. Bringing up the theme “Rise Innovation, Safe Generation” along with the concept of Online Judging Presentation, the committee hopes IID 2021 will be a platform that bring together the innovators ideas to the community despite all the existing limitation.

There are two categories for Indonesia Inventors Day qualification of participants :

  1. International Young Inventors Award (IYIA)  is an open international innovation competition for school students under 18 years old
  2. World Invetion and Technology Expo (WINTEX) is an open international innovation competition for university students, individual researcher / innovator, lecturers over 18 years old
  • Registration Open: July 5th, 2021
  • Registration Closed : 30 September 2021
  • Event Date : November 26-29, 2021
  • Venue : Dharma Negara Alaya, Denpasar Bali

Tentative schedule offline (for limited Indonesian teams only)

  • 26 November 2021: Booth Installation
  • 27 November 2021: Opening Ceremony and Judging
  • 28 November 2021: Judging and Exhibition
  • 29 November 2021: Awarding Ceremony

Tentative Schedule for Online Participants (both Indonesians and International teams)

  • 20 – 25 November 2021: Estimation judging time (exact time and schedule will be informed later)
  • 27 November 2021: Opening ceremony
  • 29 November 2021: Closing Ceremony (can be streamed via Zoom platform or INNOPA Youtube Channel)

Indonesia Participants :

  • Offline Exhibition Per Invention : IDR 3.500.000

Offline Exhibition :

  • Offline event will be held at Dharma Negara Alaya, Denpasar, Bali
  • Participants who may take part in offline exhibitions are Indonesian Participants
  • Booth capacity is limited to 25% of the total venue capacity
  • Participants and visitors must show the results of the Swab Antigen at least H-1 before the booth preparation agenda
  • Participants and visitors must have their temperature checked before entering the venue with a maximum temperature of 37.5 C
  • The maximum number of participants in the booth is 2 persons and 1 supervisor
  • Participants who more than 2 persons should be   take turns with other team members at the booth by showing the results of the Antigen Swab at the reception desk
  • During the event, participants and visitors must follow the Health protocol that has been determined by the committee

Online Exhibition :

  • Participants who will take part in online exhibitions are International and Indonesia  participants
  • There is no limited number who can join for the online exhibition
  • Participants should follow all the onlinje program during the online exhibition
  • Participants should take part in the virtual judging according to the schedule determined by the committee

As of 04 July 2021, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has reported 2.284.084 persons with confirmed COVID-19. There have been 60.582 deaths related to COVID-19 reported and 1.928.274 patients have recovered from the disease. WHO is working with the Indonesian Government to monitor the situation and prevent further spread of disease.

Health Protocols You Must Obey :

  • Wear a mask properly wherever you go
  • Wash your hands with soap and running water regularly
  • Maintain a safe distance of 1.5 to 2 meters
  • Avoid crowd or any social gathering
  • Limit mobility unless for emergency

Flight’s Requirement During COVID-19 :

  1. Covid-19 Free Certificate with Negative Rapid Test Antigen or PCR Results Hasil
  2. Showing the First Vaccine Card/Vaccine Certificate for from and To Java-Bali
  3. Fill out the Electronic Health Alert Card (E-HAC)
  4. Mandatory Use of Masks at the Airport and on the Plane
  5. Additional Terms Provided by Local Government (Please see below)

Bali Ngurah Rai, Denpasar :

  1. Must show a negative PCR test result whose sample is taken a maximum of 2×24 hours before departure
  2. The results of the PCR test must also be accompanied by a barcode/QR Code issued by the relevant Health Facility
  3. Must show vaccine card / first stage vaccination certificate

All Destinations in Java :
